Summer Grind
My summer kicked off with a dryland block at Lake of the Woods. A typical week in my training regimen included three focused weight lifting sessions, two to three bike rides, running intervals, core workouts, and mobility exercises. I spent upwards of 18 hours each week training, tracking my progress and sharing the results with my coaches.
Outside of my training schedule, I made sure to balance my life by engaging in various activities. i enjoyed activities such as waterskiing, playing tennis, swimming and enjoying the lake. I also found time for yard work, cottage chores, bbq and family. The summer was a perfect blend of hard work and fun, preparing me for the upcoming ski racing season.
