Every year around 40,000 fans gather in Adelboden, Switzerland for the FIS Ski World Cup. Adelboden's World Cup Hill is referred to as the "Chuenisbärgli". Adelboden is a Swiss Alpine village in the Bernese Oberland region home to around 3,800 people.
Adelboden is an idyllic village with its numerous mountain trasnport facilities and gorwing number of wellness havens. Adelboden is the first destination in Switzerland to have been awarded the Alpine Wellness holiday resort certificate.A The central village church dates from the 15th century. Outside of town, at Engstligen Falls, several Alpine streams join together to become the Engstligen River. Farther north, the river forms the deep, narrow Choleren Gorge, which is accessible via bridges and walkways.
